As DEVITA’s senior Plumbing/Fire Protection professional, Derk reports directly to the Mechanical Department Manager, and, on his behalf, oversees the overall quality of the firm’s plumbing and fire protection design services. He provides project management, construction administration, and quality control assurance for a variety of the firm’s projects. With over 30 years of experience in fire protection & plumbing systems, Derk is an expert in fire sprinkler systems and engineering design. Derk is a member of National Institute of Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), and American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA).
