DescriptionDEVITA provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering and design for The Pines at Davidson, a project consisting of two four-story apartment buildings with basements, each building containing 19 units. The first building was a prototype design and the second building was an adaptation of the prototype design. The buildings are served by an emergency power generator set and are connected to the campus-wide master fire alarm and emergency call system, and provide additional living space to this large continuing care community. The project also included three one-story cottages, each one containing a two-bedroom unit.
